Nabanna Scholarship Required Documents
Two categories of documents are required for the Nabanna Scholarship –
- Academic Documents ( Educational )
- Official Documents. ( Verification and financial )
Academic Documents
1 . Admit Card of Madhyamik Examination
Provide the Admit Card for the Madhyamik Examination.
2 . The mark sheet of the Last Examination passed
Provide the mark sheet of the Last Examination passed, like Madhyamik or Hs Examination.
3 . Admission Receipt of the Current Course
Submit a copy of your admission receipt or current course fee receipt to verify enrollment in your chosen academic institution.
4 . Bank Account Details
Provide a photocopy of your bank passbook showing the account holder’s name, Account number, and IFSC code.
5 . Aadhaar Card
Submit a photocopy of the Applicant’s Aadhaar Card as proof of identity.
6 . Contact Number
An active phone number for communication.
7 . Recent Passport-Sized Photo
Attach a clear and recent passport-sized photograph.
Official Documents
These documents authenticate the financial and recommendation aspects of the application:
1 . Income Certificate
Mandatory for all scholarship applications, including the Nabanna Scholarship.
It can be issued by A Gazetted Officer, BDO (Block Development Officer) or Joint BDO (for rural areas), Executive Officer, or Deputy Commissioner (for urban areas). Alternatively, an online income certificate can also be submitted.
2 . MLA Recommendation Letter
Applicants need to obtain a recommendation letter from their local MLA. The MLA’s office provides the prescribed format for this document.
3 . Self-Declaration
Applicants need to write a formal request addressed to the Chief Minister, explaining the need for the scholarship. This can be handwritten on a blank A4 sheet or typed and printed in the prescribed format. The letter must include the applicant’s signature.
